The shipping industry is by its nature international. We provide advisory and legal support in Shipping and Maritime Laws including documentation and litigation. We deal with contentious and non-contentious issues in shipping law. On the contentious side; shipping involves contractual issues such as bill of lading and charter party disputes, whereas; shipping tends to involve issues of tort and insurance law (e.g. collisions). Non-contentious work includes ship finance (e.g. lending and security) and the drafting of commercial agreements (e.g. charters and shipbuilding contracts).
